A peaceful paddle down a river, through a lake, or by the coast of the Bay of Fundy is a must do for anyone visiting Charlotte County. Relaxing and exciting all at the same time! Many come to hike through the trails in the area, which offer a peaceful way to spend any part of your day. There are many places to go fishing too, giving everyone an opportunity to reel in a big catch!

Adventure High on Grand Manan offers many different types of kayaking adventures, from single to multi-day adventures, and even has bike rentals to make exploring the island even more fun. Many other companies all around the county have kayaking adventures too, so no matter where you are, you’ll have the opportunity to paddle around our great waters. If you want to go a little faster, many boating companies have opportunities to go whale watching and sight seeing out in the Bay of Fundy. Lambert Family Adventures on Grand Manan Island offers not only whale watching but also a tour of the island from the ocean explaining the fishing industry and pointing out landmarks with stories and explanations.
