23rd Annual Lumberjack Competition and Festival
July 21 - July 22
The 23rd Annual Lumberjack Competition in St. Stephen, NB has moved to a new date and added another day of events for the whole family!
Friday, July 22, enjoy traditional lumberjack skill demonstrations from local, regional, and national lumberjacks and jills. Relax afterward with a traditional fiddle concert, highlighting the deep roots between traditional music and the lumbering tradition in New Brunswick.
On Saturday, start off right with a lumberjack’s breakfast before enjoying the fierce competition as world class lumberjacks hit the sawdust! Two of the world’s top lumberjacks, Ben and Nathan Cumberland, have St. Stephen roots and are sure to put on a great show for the crowd.
Entry to the competition is absolutely free. There will be a fundraising BBQ on site if you get hungry. Bring a lawn chair, your sunscreen, and the whole family.
