Are you looking for a delicious way to spend your Sunday afternoon? We have the solution – Railway Pie!

The Village of McAdam is dominated by the historic McAdam Railway Station, commissioned by William Van Horne (whose summer home you can visit on Ministers Island) and designed by his favourite architect Edward Maxwell.

On Sunday afternoon, you can take your spot on a stool at the fantastically restored lunch counter and dig in to one (or more!) of the large variety of home-baked pies for sale. These pies are made with love by local volunteers, and served by enthusiastic community volunteers as well! After you’ve filled your belly, you can take a tour of the restored station, and visit the parts awaiting restoration – which your pie purchase will help to fund.
