Designed by architect W.S. Maxwell for Senator Arthur Hill Gillmor over a hundred years ago, the house has been transformed into a lovely boutique. Gillmor’s Coach House retains it’s historical integrity with the beautifully lathed pillars that once separated the stalls for horses and cows. The walls and ceiling are covered in tongue and groove spruce, and the old floor boards have been sanded and varnished to the original rich gold patina.
Filled with special finds and fashion, it is rare to have such a completely unique shopping experience anywhere.
